Job Responsibilities

We are Gothenburg – and we are now looking for you who want to help develop a structured, modern, and service-oriented purchasing operation.

As a purchasing administrator, you will play a key role in coordinating and administering the operational purchasing processes and contract management of the administration.

As part of the Purchasing and Procurement Department, you will support the organization in creating effective and quality-assured purchasing routines. You will work with operational ordering support in our e-commerce system, follow up on deliveries, manage incoming goods, and administer products. You will also participate in simpler direct procurements and contribute to the development of the need-to-payment process.

In this role, you will act as system support and superuser in Proceedo and Kommers. This means that you will handle incoming cases, ensure that contracts and system information are up to date, and communicate contract changes to the organization.

You will work closely with the purchasing coordinator, participate in the city's system forum, and help identify and drive improvements in the purchasing processes. The assignment also includes supporting the organizations in finding sustainable purchasing solutions and participating in internal control within the purchasing area.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has completed secondary education. It is an advantage if you also have post-secondary education, for example from a vocational school, in purchasing, economics, administration, or another equivalent field.

You have a few years of experience in operational purchasing work or system administration. You have good IT skills and preferably good knowledge of Excel.

To thrive in this role, you need to be able to work in a structured manner, be meticulous, and take responsibility for your tasks. You can prioritize effectively and always focus on the customer's needs. You are good at building good relationships and find it easy to collaborate.

Meritorious Experiences

  • Knowledge of Proceedo, Kommers, or other purchasing systems, preferably in a role as expert support.
  • Experience in system administration.
  • Experience in case management in systems such as ServiceNow or similar.
  • Experience in public procurement or work within the public sector.
  • Good knowledge of operational purchasing processes.
  • Interest in sustainable purchasing solutions.
  • Interest in developing automated workflows.

  • Structured, meticulous, and responsible.
  • Positive, communicative, and service-oriented.
  • Solution-oriented and confident in dialogue with different functions.
  • Unafraid to raise issues and drive the process forward.
